UMass Women's Club Basketball is a student-run organization that competes in the National Club Basketball Association (NCBBA). Each year, 16 girls with a shared love for the sport come together to play at a competitive level. As a more newly chartered team, with our first season being in 2022, we have seen great success and development since the birth of our organization. In our debut season we made it to regionals. By 2023 we received a bid to nationals in Erie, PA. In our most recent season we attended regionals. Our hope is to maintain a strong program by keeping up this competitive spirit as most of our original/founding team members graduate. We will be passing this club along to players that are passionate, driven, and eager to play.
Funding-wise, members pay team dues yearly alongside fundraising efforts. With costs for travelling, equipment, and lodging on the rise, we are seeking out help from our community to cover such expenses.
