The phrase “UMass has Great Chemistry” says it all! We are participating in the UMassGives campaign to provide additional scholarships for our talented students, to enhance student recruiting, and to hire new faculty.

Since chemistry is the core of the chemical sciences on campus, it connects us to numerous departments through teaching and research, and our students and faculty use cutting-edge educational methods in modern classrooms and teaching labs. The department has top-notch role models, mentors, and facilities to enhance training for successful careers in academic, industrial or government sectors.
