Marketing Department

The Marketing Department is on the move—and we need you with us.

We're growing, we're innovating, and we're raising the bar for excellence at every level. To keep that momentum strong and deliver the best possible education to our students, we’re asking for your support. Your gift helps us power meaningful initiatives that shape the next generation of marketing leaders:

  • Student support across undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs
  • Experiential learning through hands-on projects and extracurricular opportunities
  • Mentorship & Networking that connect students with faculty, alumni, and each other
  • Cutting edge research that keeps our faculty at the forefront of their field and ensures students gain the most up-to-date knowledge to succeed in an ever-changing business environment

Last year, your dollars enabled us to fund a class project when competition funding was cut; send a student on a service learning trip to Africa; support student clubs and competitions; bring speakers and alumni to campus to share real-world insights; and so much more.

In 2025, your impact will be felt immediately. Your contribution will help us to:

  • Support student travel to national competitions, service learning trips, and employer visits.
  • Provide funding to help clubs and classes engage in real world projects and defray the costs associated with unpaid internships.
  • Support increased engagement with employers, through programs like our Marketing Career Networking Night, the Marketing Career Speaker Series, and a Sales Academy.
  • Fund research in the Berthiaume Behavioral Research Lab and studies using real-world data and non-student samples.

We're proud of the Marketing community at UMass and Isenberg—and we know you are too. Join us in fueling the future by giving to the department's general fund and directly supporting student success.

Your gift matters—and it goes even further during UMassGives.

This year, we’re aiming to raise $135,000 from 100 gifts, and here’s the exciting part:

Marketing alum Edmund Ward ’77 is inspiring us to support what we love. For every 1 gift we receive, he’ll unlock $2,500 for the Professor Marc Weinberger Endowed Faculty Fellowship—up to a total of $125,000!

Let’s do this together. Support Isenberg Marketing, amplify student success, and help us shape the future of business.

Thank you!
