UMassGives 2025 is over, but you can still support UMass Amherst today, or any day, by clicking here!
Stockbridge School of Agriculture

The Stockbridge School of Agriculture is asking for your help during UMassGives to support our talented students, dedicated faculty, cutting-edge research, and successful academic programs.

Consider some of our recent accomplishments:

  • UMass Amherst is ranked #1 in the U.S. for Agricultural Sciences, and is the only U.S. school to make the Global Top Ten for 2024-2025 (U.S. News & World Report)
  • Stockbridge research represents the vanguard of knowledge in the fields of agricultural and environmental science. Our frequently published faculty are winning national and international recognitions, including elite fellowship in top professional organizations, and sustained membership in the World’s Most Highly Cited Researchers index.
  • Our Turfgrass Science and Management program is the largest in New England, and our associate and bachelor's degree programs are ranked #1 and #2 nationally (collegefactual.com)
  • Our Horticultural Science program is ranked #6 nationally (U.S. News)
  • We host the nation’s largest fully online bachelor’s degree in sustainable agriculture -- a premier destination for a new generation interested in sustainable food and farming.
  • Our Student Farm and Permaculture Initiative produced 1800 pounds of fresh food for university dining commons, farmer’s markets, and community food pantries.
  • Funded by generous alumni, our student teams impressed industry judges by winning top scores at both the Turf Bowl and National Collegiate Landscape competitions.
  • Our two-year associate degree programs, designed in collaboration with industry employers, include an internship program that leads to a high employment rate at graduation

Gifts from our community of alumni, friends, faculty, parents, staff, and students are essential to providing a high-quality educational experience, contributing to scientific breakthroughs, and enhancing our ability to share our discoveries with the world.

Please give. Then inspire others to give by sharing our link on social media!
