UMass Club Baseball is a Registered Student Organization (RSO). The Club provides students an opportunity to play competitive intercollegiate baseball. Tryouts are at the beginning of September, with games and practices beginning immediately thereafter. The team competes in the North Atlantic North Division of the National Club Baseball Association, facing teams such as UConn, Boston College, Northeastern, SUNY-Binghamton, and UNH. The team also plays a competitive non-conference schedule of games. There are annual trips to Florida over spring break during which UMass competes in a tournament consisting of teams from across the country. We are looking to raise money to support such ventures. As our league has changed, we are raising more money for hotels and vans as we need to travel farther away to play in our NCBA-sanctioned games. Our current attempt at a regional playoff run would be aided immeasurably by this as well. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will contribute directly to UMass Club Baseball’s ability to give college students a continued chance to compete in their sport.
