International Student Emergency Support
UMass prides itself on being a welcoming and supportive community for students from all backgrounds and origins. International students in our midst, who hail from over 100 countries, are often affected negatively due to emergent or ongoing crises in their home countries and communities, be they natural disasters, war, and conflict, political turmoil, or systemic economic issues. Such events can disrupt their lives and threaten their education. The Office of Global Affairs is a critical campus resource for students facing disruption to their academic or personal well-being. All gifts will be used directly to support international students facing a sudden emergency or crisis.
