Consider making your gift during the 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm Power Hour on April 29, when the area of campus with the most individual donations will win an additional $2,000.
We ask you to support the Cape Cod Alumni Network Scholarship during UMassGives this year. This is our 30th year of giving scholarships to Cape Cod students who will be attending UMass Amherst in the fall and during that time we have given out well over $375,000.
This year we are again committed to providing scholarships to local students with multiple $3,000 scholarships and one $4,000 scholarship to be awarded. We are an all-volunteer group, so all of the money raised goes directly to scholarships.
Hear what a few previous scholarship recipients had to say:

It was an honor to be awarded the scholarship, and it really helped to offset the cost of this semester. The reception itself was a special experience. With the Chancellor of UMass, alumni, current students, and fellow incoming first-years, there were many opportunities to converse with different people who each had their own pieces of helpful advice. I was able to chat with a junior who shared the same major as me, and she gave me advice about what classes to take and how to get involved with research labs. I'm very grateful for the generosity of the UMass Cape Cod Alumni Network for both the scholarship and the opportunity to connect with UMass students and alumni.

I think college in general teaches independence, but UMass Amherst helps students learn it quickly with the large size. I would tell students to be excited about the next four years they are about to embark on, and I would recommend coming to UMass Amherst to anyone!
Gifts in any amount make a difference, as they add up quickly and inspire the generosity of others.
Join the excitement and make a difference. Be sure to share on social media. Thank you!
With your help, we can reach our goal of $6,500 and show our Cape Cod students just how strongly we support their aspirations at this difficult time. From all of us in Cape Cod, thank you.
