UMass Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing safe and affordable housing by partnering with Habitat for Humanity affiliates locally and across the U.S. Each semester we volunteer at 3 local builds and multiple volunteer sites around Amherst, and every spring break, we travel to help communities in need across the U.S. This past March, we traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana for a week of building homes and making a lasting impact. Our club operates primarily on fundraising, with these service trips being our largest expense. Your support will help cover the trips costs and to participate in local builds, which allow us to continue our mission of creating affordable housing, building community, and gaining invaluable skills and experiences.
