What is the Faculty and Staff Campaign?

The generosity of current and retired faculty and staff is a point of pride for UMass Amherst. Your gift to the annual Faculty and Staff Campaign directly benefits the areas of campus you care about, and your participation encourages additional support from alumni, friends, and other organizations.

How can I make a gift?

You can make a gift to the Faculty and Staff Campaign in the following ways:

-Through Payroll Deduction- Spread your gift out over weeks or months and have it taken directly our of your paycheck.

-Online- Click the give button to make your gift today.

-By Check- Send a check to Faculty and Staff Campaign, c/o Nathan Adams, Executive Director of Annual Giving, Memorial Hall, 134 Hicks Way, Amherst, MA 01003

-Call the Office of Annual Giving at 1-413-577-1158.

Where do gifts go?

Donors are welcome to designate their gift to any allocation listed on our website. Don't see listed the allocation you wish to support? Select "other" from both drop-down menus and then write it in the area of campus you want to support in the field that pops-up. Or call or email us and we will help you make your gift to the area of campus you wish to support. You can reach us toll free at 1-866-450-8627 or nathan.adams@umass.edu. If you don’t wish to designate your gift, you may support “Chancellor's Strategic Initiatives".

Is my Faculty and Staff Campaign gift tax deductible?

Yes.  Like all donations to UMass, your gift is tax deductible, and you will be emailed a receipt for your donation that can be used for tax purposes.

Is it safe to make my gift online?

Yes. We do not store any of your credit card information. Additionally, the information collected when you make a donation is only used by UMass Amherst.  It will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations.

What is the difference between the Faculty and Staff Campaign and the UMass Amherst Community Campaign (UMACC)?

Gifts made to the Faculty & Staff Campaign support our university and our students, and its success encourages alumni, parents, and friends to invest in UMass Amherst. 

 

The UMass Amherst Community Campaign (UMACC) is a workplace-giving program that provides an easy way to donate to any charitable organization outside of UMass you choose. UMACC demonstrates to the community that UMass Amherst employees are committed to helping make the world a better place.

How do I make my gift to an area not listed on the donation form?

Select "other areas of campus" from the bottom of the school/college/area of campus drop-down menu and then select "other" from the fund designation drop-down menu. Write in the area of campus you want to support in the field that pops-up above the amount field. Or call or email us and we will help you make your gift to the area of campus you wish to support. You can reach us toll free at 1-866-450-8627 or nathan.adams@umass.edu. If you don’t wish to designate your gift, you may select "other areas of campus" and then select “Chancellor's Strategic Initiatives" and your gift will go where it is most needed.

How can I make a gift through payroll deduction?

How can I make my gift via check or over the phone?

You can send a check to Faculty and Staff Campaign, c/o Nathan Adams, Executive Director of Annual Giving, Memorial Hall, 134 Hicks Way, Amherst, MA 01003. Or if you'd like to make your gift over the phone, call the Office of Annual Giving at 413-577-1158 and we will be happy to assist you.
